Line 1:
It’s okay to be attracted to someone who’s totally opposite of you; there are no such conditions for attraction. If anything, it’s actually better to be drawn to someone of unique nature because they might bring novelty and excitement to your life that was missing before.
Attraction towards an opposite can also teach you that life has a lot more tricks up its sleeve than you might think. Most people will swear by finding someone who mirrors their personality until life makes them fall in with someone completely unlike.
Line 2:
Changing your plans according to what feels right in the moment is wise; fools make a plan and stick to it regardless of uncertainties and changes in the path. With enough understanding of life and this universe, you’ll know that more than half of any journey doesn’t pan out the way you plan in your head. It’s okay to switch routes and deviate from the initial plan a bit if you feel it’s the right thing to do.

In love, logical (or practical) thinking is not needed. Leave it at the door before you enter a room where love may be present. With Hexagram 31, there’s only one simple piece of advice that would truly matter in practicality: think from your heart, not your mind. If there’s somebody you wish to allure, finding a way to their heart through emotion is much better than taking a logical route.
When that deep flame burning inside you craves fulfillment and sensuality, all sorts of jumbled emotions will come your way that won’t make much sense. Certain things shouldn’t make sense, they’re better that way.
