Hexagram 45 - Collective Movement & Objective Hunt

Hexagram 45 carries a slightly different message than all the other hexagrams in an i Ching game. This symbol shows that it will take unity, a population or a large-scale mobilization for you to be heard. Alone you won’t be able to get what you want.

Hexagram 45 also shows that unity and solidarity are the secret to happiness. You need people who believe in the same thing as you, so you can “fight” together with these people.

Throughout history, mankind has called for collective strikes and movements in situations where a single voice may not be enough to bring change. In today’s day and age, however, people seem to have forgotten what it’s like to get together on a large scale and stand with/against something.

Hexagram 45 from the I Ching enlightens you on the concept of bringing people on board and promoting a fruitful agenda. When one person’s effort is snubbed, a large crowd can come together and request for justice/change.

Hexagram 45 Message

The concept of people coming together towards a collective goal is truly a mesmerizing one. To think that human beings have so much power as a unit just restores one’s faith in humanity. If needed, good change and justice can be brought anytime only if willing people join hands with the right intention.

While critics of this power might warn against the pushing of agendas, there’s no doubting the fact that sometimes a mass movement is the only way to bring a serious message to light. This is only possible if individuals making up the mass are united, determined, and able to reach the right ears.

Hexagram 45 Message For Love & Relationships

When outside forces start getting involved in your relationship, that’s where you should enforce a boundary. Too many people having a say in whom you should and shouldn’t love only creates problems. It’s your heart and your love, so it’s you who decides. Don’t give an irrelevant third party the power to manipulate your relationship. Only you and your partner decide the dynamics of the bond and what you both seek from each other.

Messages From The Lines Of Hexagram 45

Hexagram 45 Symbol

Line 1:

An objective is arguably the most important aspect of any collective gathering. To bring change, people must have an idea of what they’re striving towards. Effort without intention is like the donkey that runs mindlessly while its owner reaches his desired destination.

When a large crowd gathers for a collective strike/movement, everyone must have their minds made up about what they seek. Support just for the sake of showing support will only lead to conflict and confusion.

Line 2:

An imbalance of dominant and submissive energies in a gathering can be very costly. A crowd seeking an objective isn’t supposed to enforce its ideas upon outsiders; just putting the message out there is usually enough. However, when backlash is faced by people who are unwilling to give in, those of an overly submissive nature might easily accept defeat and take a U-turn.

Line 3:

Positioning matters when it comes to setting up a movement to bring change. The one with leadership qualities amongst average people cannot thrive in the back. Well-spoken individuals will carry the message best while frontline warriors stand in front to dominate other parties with ill agendas.

Masses hear only when they’re forced to hear it. It would be ignorant to believe that people “want” to hear the message. So, plan ahead of time and use positioning to your advantage wherever you can.

Line 4:

The righteous don’t often claim to be righteous; it’s their message that appeals and sells them as correct. When many people come together for a collective strike, it’s not about selling the validation of their agenda but more so about having an appealing message that’s maybe harsh but somewhat meaningful.

Think about it, you would never be intrigued by a group of people sparking debate and overconfidently claiming to be “right”; it comes off as arrogant and baseless if a fitting context is missing.

Line 5:

Struggling together in a rally with your people will let you know who truly stands beside you. In times of trouble and collective approach, one’s true nature and priorities are magnified. Those who flee the battlefield and leave you to fight alone likely aren’t going to stick for long; they prioritize their comfort and ease a lot more than standing beside you in the crusade for justice/reform.

Line 6:

The real display of immaturity is when individuals part of a larger crowd make the crusade about themselves. It’s unfair and a completely faulty way of thinking about such a large-scale matter. A selfish mindset is okay when striving for something in solidarity but collective gatherings require you to be a part of everything and experience events as others are experiencing them.

Acknowledge your dirty habit and disassociate from it before it starts pushing people away from you!
